Can a baby sleep in a pack n play?

As a first-time parent, you've already know that a baby usually sleeps a lot. So, it’s worth taking your time to figure out where to put your little one to sleep.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends keeping your infant in the same room where you sleep (but not in the same bed) to greatly reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), so a full-sized crib likely won't be your baby's first sleeping place.

In fact, play yards are subject to new Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) standards approved in 2012 and therefore might be the safest choice for your baby to sleep. Most play yards feature breathable mesh sides and come with a thin, firm mattress that meets guidelines for preventing SIDS.

However if your baby sleeps in the pack play every night, with the added usage your pack n play may start showing signs of age quicker than expected this'll require you to for the structural integrity of your pack n play regularly to ensure the utmost safety of your baby!

But simply owning a pack n play won't make it the perfect place for your little one to nap and sleep, it’s always the best to pick a fitted sheet designed for use with your play yard.

The main purpose of pack n play sheets is to make the sleeping area of your pack n play more comfortable for your baby. Playard sheets also help with keeping things clean. If baby has an accident, you can (hopefully) just wash the sheet and be on your way instead of having to clean the pack and play itself, which usually isn’t machine washable.

Thus, I highly recommend you to try Biloban pack n play sheets. Biloban has a variety of pack n play sheets for you to choose from!

Biloban design and produce pack n play sheets that are made from microfiber, jersey cotton and organic cotton with lovely patterns. The microfiber or polyester sheet is easy to clean and stain resistant.
